Hydrostatic Testing

Hydrostatic (Hydro) Testing is a process where components such as piping systems, gas cylinders, boilers and pressure vessels are tested for integrity and durability. This service is often required after shutdowns and repairs are completed to validate that the equipment will operate as designed. DOT Hydrostatic testing is required when a process line is permanently underground.

 

Whether it becomes a tie in point or a riser for meter skids, these test often consist of longer testing times and require vigorous procedures to be followed. By performing these test, our clients can provide a safe environment for the surrounding areas.
